History of the Department
Department of Statistics was started in 1980 when B.Sc. mathematics (main) course was introduced in our college. Ms. Ancy Jose joined the department as a lecturer in 10th November 1980 .She handled subsidiary statistics for the B.Sc. Mathematics and Basic tools for Economics Analysis for BA economics till 2014. Presently we are dealing with statistics papers for Mathematics, Economics, Microbiology and Biotech departments
